Saints Row IV Details from Comic-Con Voice Acting Panel

<p>Deep Silver &amp&semi; Volition hosted a voice acting panel at Comic-Con over the weekend that featured not only studio head Steve Jaros&comma; but also a few of <em>Saints Row IV<&sol;em>&&num;8216&semi;s own voice actors&comma; such as Troy Baker &lpar;default male voice&rpar;&comma; Laura Bailey &lpar;default female voice&rpar;&comma; J&period; B&period; Blanc &lpar;alien overlord Zinyak&rpar; and Yuri Lowenthal &lpar;Matt Miller&comma; Professor Genki&rpar;&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Now&comma; you may not have expected a VA panel to give any big details about Saints Row IV&comma; but that&&num;8217&semi;s exactly what happened&comma; including information regarding the game&&num;8217&semi;s first DLC add-on&comma; <em>Enter the Dominatrix<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The once-upon-a-time <em>Saints Row&colon; The Third<&sol;em> add-on will now release 45 days after <em>Saints Row IV<&sol;em> launches and features a &&num;8216&semi;behind the scenes style narration&&num;8217&semi; with various characters explaining why the DLC was cut from the last game&period; But that&&num;8217&semi;s not the only bit of news the VA panel dropped&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>You may recall that Johnny Gat will be making a return to the series&comma; and while some of us may not care about why or how he came back&comma; we&&num;8217&semi;ll be getting a &&num;8216&semi;satisfying explanation&&num;8217&semi; regardless&period; Additionally&comma; an old gang from <em>Saints Row 2<&sol;em>&comma; the Ronin gang&comma; is back&comma; with some of its members set to make appearances&comma; and Zinyak will read the first chapter of <em>Pride and Prejudice<&sol;em> in it&&num;8217&semi;s entirety over the in-game radio for the first part of the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Unfortunately&comma; some things won&&num;8217&semi;t be pulling a Gat and coming back&comma; as it was confirmed that the pro-wrestling gang and the zombie voice are out&comma; with Jaros stating that a good joke is only funny once&period; But hey&comma; Nolan North voice option&comma; right&quest; And we get to have superpowers and a Dub Step gun&comma; which&comma; in my opinion&comma; is a fair trade off&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Saints Row IV<&sol;em> is set to release on August 20th&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrace;Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gameinformer&period;com&sol;b&sol;news&sol;archive&sol;2013&sol;07&sol;21&sol;more-saints-row-madness-incoming&period;aspx">GameInformer<&sol;a> via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;escapistmagazine&period;com&sol;news&sol;view&sol;126179-First-Saints-Row-IV-DLC-Detailed-And-Dated">The Escapist<&sol;a>&rcub;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
