Earlier this month, we were betting on Microsoft showing off more of its upcoming Platinum Games-made Xbox One exclusive, Scalebound. As it so happens, there’s some good and bad news on that front.

The bad news? We were totally wrong on that front, at least. The good news? We’re only going to have to wait until this August to find out more. Microsoft’s Phil Spencer’s now revealed that the game will be shown off in more detail at this year’s Gamescom in Cologne, Germany along with the next Crackdown and Remedy Entertainment’s Quantum Break.

“Rest assured that titles like Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be front and center at Gamescom along with new game reveals for both Xbox One and Windows 10,” Spencer writes. “Having a jam-packed lineup of games to show at E3 means that there simply isn’t enough time to give each of our upcoming titles its well-deserved time in the spotlight.”

Meanwhile, Microsoft’s re-confirmed that we will be seeing more of Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Forza Motorsport 6 for its E3 press conference next week.

This year’s Gamescom will run from August 5th-9th while this year’s E3 will take place this June 16th-18th in Los Angeles, California.
