Sci-Fi Adventure Concept Dome City Receives Pre-Alpha Gameplay

Dome City - Cutscene Teaser Trailer

Dome City, a Sci-Fi adventure video game concept created by a Hungarian start up studio “Overon Station”. Although the word concept may not be easy to digest, the developer notes the game is a “first person sci-fi adventure game with a strong narrative”. The game is also running on Unreal Engine 4 so with that in mind we can hope to see detail Global Illumination along with advanced particle effects.

The previous cutscene video, which you can check out here, let’s the player understand a small segment of the back story although not revealing a whole lot… hopefully more details as to how Mars was colonized and why the original inhabitants left would be the main story points I’d look out for.

The Steam concept page states some background for the game, how they want to gain the players interest… you had me at stunning soundtrack. The developer claims the game will be based on “non-linear storytelling” meaning that the choices you make are yours, essentially there will be multiple solutions to the challenges presented within the game. Survival is key as the human basic requirements such as food, water and electricity are scarce so who knows how you will find those within an empty Mars colonized city.

Dome City is expected to release first on the PC platform using Steam early 2017. For the foreseeable future will eventually be out on Xbox One and PS4.

For the full details you can read the entire description of the game over on their Steam concept page here. Alternatively follow them on social media.
