Yet more bad news for careers in the video game industry after Lucas Arts closed earlier this week. Sega have announced that its studio in Australia will be closed later this year although no explanation was given to exactly why it would be doing so.

The studio was already subject to job cuts last year in which 37 people lost their jobs who have contributed to games such as Medieval II: Total War and the expansion packs Kingdoms and Stormrise.

We wish all the people affected by this decision the best of luck in the future.
