It’s done. Shenmue III‘s Kickstarter has finally come to a close yesterday and it’s raked in a sizable chunk of change for itself.
The game’s amassed exactly $6,333,296 over the past month since its announcement on Kickstarter from precisely 69,320 backers, surpassing the likes of Castlevania creator Koji Igarashi’s Bloodstained as the most funded Kickstarter game of all time.
Though the game’s Kickstarter ventures are up, it’s been announced that the game would be opening up a PayPal soon for further donations.

Shenmue III will officially be releasing for Playstation 4 and PC when it’s finished, though Kickstarter backers will be the only ones to receive physical copies.
