It may be hard to believe that Shenmue III‘s finally becoming a reality and it’s giving players yet another look at just what it has in store.
As you can see in the trailer below, characters Ryo and Shenhua enjoy the surreal nightlife of the ‘Lake of the Lantern Bugs’ in tune to a lively soundtrack.
With little more than two days to go, Shenmue III‘s Kickstarter has already made its $5 million goal and then some at the time of this writing thanks to 56,000+ backers. The project recently added hard-copies for Playstation 4 as a reward for backers pledging at least $60 and over.
The Kickstarter officially ends this Friday, July 17th at 6:51 PM PDT.
