After months of waiting for new games, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate released in Europe alongside Lego City: Undercover and it must had felt like a blessing for those cradling their Wii U consoles promising it games at a later date.
In typical Nintendo fashion however and in a move that replicates the Japanese “Animal Crossing: New Leaf” shortages Nintendo has realized that there are stock shortages throughout Europe. Whilst many companies would simply release a press release in regards to this, Satoru Shibata, the president of Nintendo of Europe, made a more personal statement through Nintendo’s Twitter account in the form of three Tweets:
- [Shibata] I’d like to apologise for the current stock shortage due to high demand of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate at retail. (1/3)
- [Shibata] New #MH3U stock will hopefully be available in shops next week for Wii U and mid April for Nintendo 3DS. (2/3)
- [Shibata] Both versions of #MH3U are also available on Nintendo eShop. Again, I sincerely apologise for causing any inconvenience. (3/3)
