The online store for PlayStation fans which allows them to access and purchase PSN content for their PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita has opened its doors to 15 European countries as well as Australia and New Zealand.

The new store can easily be accessed through a web browser, with quick, easy links to content under three main categories; Games, Movies and TV as well as advertisement banners pushing content which Sony Europe believes you should pay attention too.

Personally I believe this is a great idea. As new content is released onto the PSN store you are usually reading that it has done so on a website like yours truly, so being able to instantly add it to your download queue is just one benefit of opening this online store!

What are your opinions of the web-based shop?
