Never thought this would happen. Both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 (my favorite game in the series) have been reworked, given high definition upgrades, and packed full of new achievements and trophies and will sell together as the Silent Hill HD Collection (as pictured above). For anyone whose played the Silent Hill series we all understand the depth and horror of these games and both Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3 embody the greatness of this survival horror mega-franchise that is maybe only rivaled by the likes of Resident Evil.
The Silent Hill HD Collection was originally announced just for the Playstation 3 (as many titles are!) but we can now safely confirm that the collection will see a larger audience on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in November 2011. Until then we have this just released and stunningly beautiful box art of the Silent Hill HD Collection to keep us busy. Check it out above. You may notice the picture features Maria from Silent Hill 2. Cool, right?
The game can also be pre-ordered at Amazon and countless other places. Sometimes you can get anywhere from 10% to 30% off pre-ordering a game and a bunch of goodies. Keep your eyes open for deals.
