Silent Hill Soundtrack Getting the Mondo Treatment for Vinyl Release

<p>Vinyl fans rejoice as you can now have your record player make the creepiest of sounds with the <em>Silent Hill <&sol;em>soundtrack<em>&period; <&sol;em>Mondo announced today that the original game&&num;8217&semi;s soundtrack will be released as a double LP on 180 gram &&num;8220&semi;Snow Fall&&num;8221&semi; vinyl&period; It will be clear with heavy white splatter on it&comma; which is a fancy way of saying that it will probably look really nice&period; Pre-orders begin Wednesday April 11th&comma; at noon CST and will cost &dollar;30 USD&period; who has done artwork for previous Mondo vinyl releases before&comma; including their release of <em>Black Swan<&sol;em>&period; The cover does a pretty good job evoking the darkness and solitude of the game&comma; which is only made more palpable by the soundtrack itself&period; Eerie doesn&&num;8217&semi;t even begin to describe the 1999 PlayStation title&&num;8217&semi;s score&comma; which swaps between somber and oppressive with industrial tones and that incredible title theme&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>This is not the first video game vinyl release that Mondo has handled&comma; either&period; They have been releasing several different <em>Castlevania <&sol;em>soundtracks on LP&comma; as well as former Konami employee&comma; Hideo Kojima&&num;8217&semi;s <em>Death Stranding<&sol;em> &&num;8211&semi;
