<p>A recent job post from Microsoft has revealed that the console manufacturer plans to integrate Skype into the next-generation Xbox.</p>
<p>The job posting, first seen by <a href="http://www.theverge.com/2012/5/28/3047758/skype-in-game-integration-next-microsoft-xbox?utm_source=dlvr.it&;utm_medium=twitter" target="_blank"><strong>The Verge</strong></a>, states that Microsoft is &#8220;focused on enabling amazing new in-game and in-console voice and video experiences for the next generation of Xbox.&#8221;</p>
<p>Microsoft acquired Skype last May so it comes as little surprise that they plan to bring the service to their next console. It is unclear if there are plans to bring Skype to the Xbox 360.</p>
<p>Sony launched a <a href="https://bagogames.com/skype-application-coming-vita/"><strong>Skype application for the PS Vita</strong></a> as a free download from the PlayStation Network last month.</p>
