Bethesda has finally commented on something that has made me personally mad, the awaiting DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PlayStation 3. Bethesda’s Vice President of PR wrote via twitter that: “we’ve never blamed anyone for anything. It’s our problem, and it’s on us to solve it” then adding “we have never blamed Sony/PS3.”
After being asked what the specific problem was, Hines answered “the performance isn’t good enough in all cases. For most folks, it’d be fine. For some, it wouldn’t be.” So will we get any DLC in the future? Hanes just wrote “I don’t have any info on Hearthfire, Dawnguard or DLC in general for PS3. We’re still on it. Will share update when I have one”
Bethesda has previously said that it “was not yet satisfied” with the performance of Dawnguard, and with the looks of things it’s not satisfied with Hearthfire ether. Bethesda has also said that the downloadable content my never come to the PlayStation 3 and that Sony was “working with” them to fix the problem. As of now the release date, or even the release for the content remains unknown.
