<p><em>Skyrim</em>&#8216;s latest update, 1.7, is now available on Steam and the update will automatically be run once players open up the game. For those of you playing <em>Skyrim </em>on consoles, <a href="http://www.bethblog.com/2012/07/30/skyrim-1-7-available-to-all-steam-users/">Bethesda has stated</a> that it&#8217;s planning to &#8220;submit the update to console manufacturers this week.&#8221;</p>
<p>The update, <a href="http://www.bethblog.com/2012/07/23/1-7-beta-update-available-on-steam/">as seen on Bethesda&#8217;s blog</a>, includes the following bug fixes:</p>
<ul>
<li><em>General memory and stability optimizations</em></li>
<li><em>Fixed crash related to new water shaders</em></li>
<li><em>Fixed rare crash related to dragon landings</em></li>
<li><em>Fixed logic error with loading screens from add-ons (Xbox 360)</em></li>
<li><em>Using vampiric grip and swimming no longer prevents swimming animation from playing afterwards</em></li>
<li><em>Improved recognition with Kinect voice commands (Xbox 360)</em></li>
<li><em>Kinect-enabled dragon language shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish work properly (Xbox 360)</em></li>
<li><em>Fixed issue with Dawnguard Kinect-enabled dragon shouts for French, German, Italian and Spanish (Xbox 360)</em></li>

<div>As for the DLC pack <em>Dawnguard</em>, no information has been released just yet about when it will come to other systems. Microsoft struck a deal with Bethesda to allow Xbox 360 users exclusive access to the DLC for 30 days but now that the 30-day period is up, gamers on the PC and PS3 are waiting for some news. Pete Hines of Bethesda <a href="https://twitter.com/DCDeacon/status/229922115313364993">tweeted</a> that more information should be out sometime this week.</div>
