Sony has announced that upcoming game Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time has had it’s release date pushed back until February, 2013 on both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Sony stated during their briefing that the game was pushed back in order to give fans a more steady stream of games released throughout the year, as well as give the game an extra bit of polish.

Sony also announced that the game would be among the first to be a part of their new cross buy program. This program means that anyone who buys a game eligible for it will receive a second copy of the game for their PlayStation Vita, or PlayStation 3 depending on the original purchase.
