ESPN has been on Xbox Live for a while now and it’s great to know that the company are still striving for success on the platform as Microsoft announced that the ESPN video streaming app has been updated, thus now supporting WatchESPN.

This now means that all ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN 3, ESPNU, Buzzer Beater and Goal Line programming are all available for your viewing pleasure!

What is stopping you from accessing all of this sporting-goodness I hear you cry!? A subscription to Gold (and let’s face it, who doesn’t have this?) and a subscription to one of ESPN’s participating cable affiliates.

Want more!? Microsoft have also revealed that Xbox SmartGlass support will also be included in the app in December. Clearly this is a gift that just keeps on giving (as long as you have subscribed!).
