The newest entry in Team Ninja’s famous fighting game franchise, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, is due for release in Spring 2015. The game is being developed for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 but only the current gen versions will get a retail release. The last gen versions will be download only although they will also be cheaper. Last Round will be the franchises’s biggest game to date, with more characters than any other entry and over 300 unlockable costumes.
Dead or Alive 5 first launched in 2012 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Since then we’ve had two updated versions of the game; Dead or Alive 5+ for PlayStation Vita and Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate for consoles.
Techmo Koei revealed the first full trailer for Dead or Alive 5: Last Round at Sony’s Pre-TGS conference. You can watch it above.
