<p>Koelnmesse has revealed via its <a href="https://www.facebook.com/gamescom.cologne/posts/10150945196808774">Facebook</a> page that Sony will indeed be featured in this year&#8217;s Gamescom after initial reports suggested otherwise. Earlier this week, Guido Alt of Sony Computer Entertainment Germany had stated &#8220;We are still negotiating with Koelnmesse. What I can say is that we did not sign a contract so far.&#8221;</p>
<p>So now, we assume, that contract has indeed been signed. Skipping out on the Cologne event, however, will be Sega and Nintendo, the former citing &#8216;business&#8217; reasons and the latter mentioning it will have a representative present to discuss the Wii U. THQ is still considering whether to participate or not.</p>
