Every hero has a beginning and for Powers, it all starts on the Playstation. As it was revealed at least year’s E3, Sony’s streaming superhero crime procedural sees the streets of LA deal with more power than they can handle.

Written and drawn by comic veterans Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming, the makers of Powers tell us that “acting came first and effects second” in creating the show.

Powers is set in Los Angeles, and focuses on Christian Walker and Deena Pilglrim, two detectives in the Powers unit, policing super-powered folks the best they can. Unlike his coworkers, Walker has first-hand experience because he once had powers himself.

If you’re a Playstation Plus member, the series debuts for you on the Playstation Network this March 10th.
