If you’re still on the fence about whether or not to pick up Criterion’s Need for Speed: Most Wanted, you might want to give some thought to trying out the newly arrived demo.
The demo, which drops players into Fairhaven City, will put them behind the wheel of an Aston Martin V12 Vantage, with three other cars — the Porsche 911 Carrera S, the Audi R8 GT Spyder and the Ford Focus RS500– hidden somewhere in the demo world just waiting to be taken. All of the cars come with their own unique races, car challenges and mods, just in case players get bored of cruising around the city.
Additionally, those that play the demo a bunch can achieve up to 50,000 Speed Points that will then carry over to the full game, should they choose to take the plunge. Autolog 2 will also be a part of the demo, so players can be mocked by their friends’ best times and further enticed to pick up the full game and put them to shame.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted released on October 30th, but might I suggest waiting for Black Friday to go grab it? It is right around the corner.
