Nintendo’s Switch Conference is pouring out new games from their secret vault. Some of these games were anticipated, but one is a mighty pleasant surprise: Splatoon 2!
Splatoon 2 features some new weapons that make the already competitive gameplay even more intense. One of the new weapons is called the “Splat Duelies”. The game will allow for use of the Joy-con controllers to aim and shoot, utilizing the motion controls that the controller allows.
In addition to the new maps, costumes and weapons, Nintendo promises a fun ability: after covering enough of the map in your team’s ink color, players will have the capability of warping a player to a certain spot! Splatoon players can battle on their TV screens, or by using the Switch’s screen. The sequel to the hit game on the Wii U, Splatoon 2 will be released only on the Nintendo Switch this summer.
