Splatoon 2 for the Switch is one of the most anticipated games for Nintendo’s new gaming console. Bits of news have been given about the second installment of this popular new IP yet the real juicy details have been kept secret. A new Splatoon 2 Nintendo Direct is coming tomorrow! We can expect to hear more about the fresh weapons and abilities that come with them. The Splat Dualies is double the fun because squids can hold both Dualies in combat. The Splat Roller and Splat Charger have new mechanics to bring some freshness to Splatoon 2.

For the first time, the Nintendo Switch offers a new local multiplayer option with Turf War battles. The gear to be announced will be extra fun to collect. Not only will your Inkling look extra groovy, but they will receive boosts based on the items you dress them up in too! Hopefully in the Nintendo Direct tomorrow, Nintendo will reveal some of the new items and show off just how some of the clothing items add a boost.
Having Splatoon 2 on the Switch gives players an opportunity to connect up to 10 docked systems with the use of a LAN adapter. This adapter will let players play in matches outside without the need of internet access. The online multiplayer from the original Wii U game will still be available. All this has been previously announced by Nintendo, but what we are waiting for to hear is about the new weapons, and possibly new areas to battle in and take out friends.
