Nintendo is offering a free demo for Wii U owners to play Splatoon during certain times over the course of three days.
Only on August 21, 22 and 23 from 3-4 pm PT, you can download and play the Splatoon Testfire demo. A broadbrand internet connection is needed to play.
Nintendo has said that “To celebrate the final days of summer vacation, we’re offering a special chance to get your feet wet in the Splatoon Testfire demo! Jump online and fight it out in fast and furious 4-on-4 Turf War battles! This free demo event will only be active during a few short time periods between 8/21 and 8/23. Don’t miss this free chance to get inked!”
If you played the previous Splatoon Testfire demos, you still need to download this new one in order to play. Happy Gaming!
