It’s the return of a classic as predicted by the magic conch shell! SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated’s release date has been confirmed. The game will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on June 23. Not only that, but pre-orders will start to open for the aforementioned platforms. So, you can get your copy as early as today!
Right now, the game is available for pre-order on Xbox One and PC through the Microsoft Store and Steam respectively. Nintendo Switch pre-orders will open on the Nintendo eShop on April 21. Finally, the PlayStation 4 pre-orders will follow at a later date.
BBFB Editions?!
Collectors can rejoice for this HD remake of Battle for Bikini Bottom has multiple editions with a variety of collectibles. The Shiny Edition, as well as the F.U.N. Edition, will be available on June 23, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch. They’re currently available for pre-order on various retailers like Amazon. So, make sure to check with your favorite retailer to get your favorite edition.
