Square Enix will be at San Diego Comic Con this year and they have announced their lineup for the convention.
Firstly, there will be two games available to try out.
- Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below
- Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below is an exclusive PS4 title developed by Omega Force, which features previous Dragon Quest characters in a Musou (Dynasty Warriors) style. You can fight both swarms of enemies and huge bosses, all designed by Dragonball artist Akira Toriyama.
- Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on PC
- Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was previously released for PS4 and Xbox One, and it has recently been announced for a 2015 PC release. According to Square Enix’s press release, “the game will include graphical options for high-end PC users, improved battle and camera controls as well as Steam community features.”
Square Enix will also put on sale their Play Arts figure range, which include:
- Tetsuya Nomura’s Play Arts – Kai – Variant Art design of Batman. ($250)
- A Limited Color Version of the Play Arts Kai figure of Batman Arkham Knight‘s Batman. ($100)
- A Limited Color Version of Timeless Wild West Play Arts – Kai – Batman, which has the character in a cowboy theme. ($120)
- The Splitter Version of Venom Snake’s Play Arts – Kai – Figure that is based on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. ($100)
Square Enix will also have for purchase the Emerald and Topaz Versions of Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward’s Carbuncle Plush for $40 each. Each of the two versions will have their own in-game minion item. The company has teased that they will be showing “never-before-seen prototype figures at [their] booth.”
In the recent Square Enix Presents stream, Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura stated that after a recent meeting with Disney, they might be able to announce another world “very, very soon.” Whether or not there will be a Kingdom Hearts III announcement at Comic Con is yet to be known.
