Although Tomb Raider has been very successful in shifting millions of copies to gamers, ranking in at 2nd place for the past two weeks in the UK All Format charts Square Enix is still a little disappointed in the sales of the reboot of the series.

Square Enix expected the game to sell at least 5-6 million copies within its first four weeks on sale, the game managed 3.4 million within this time period. What makes matters worse for the company is that the 5-6 million unit projection was just “80 to 90 per cent” of what the company though the game’s real sales potential was. Ouch.
