Square Enix has announced a pre-E3 event, consisting of a Q&;A with Sr VP Shinji Hashimoto, where the future of the Final Fantasy will be discussed and possibly revealed.

According to an invite sent to Polygon, the event will take place on June 11th, from 12-1pm ET, with specifics as to what will be talked about or shown currently unknown.

It should be noted that, during the PlayStation 4 reveal back in February, Square Enix made an announcement stating that the next Final Fantasy title would be at E3. This title, and more, could show up at this Q&;A or at Sony’s E3 press conference, which is scheduled to take place the day before on June 10th.
