Star Wars Battlefront February Update is Live

<p><em>Star Wars Battlefront<&sol;em> has been an undeniable success for EA and DICE&comma; which launched in November and has sold well over <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;fortune&period;com&sol;2015&sol;12&sol;30&sol;star-wars-video-game-sales&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">13 million copies<&sol;a>&period; While many have pointed out shortcomings in the depth of the game&comma; developers DICE have been at work constantly tweaking gameplay and adding free content&period; The latest update has launched today and has added more to the game on top of last months <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;starwars&period;ea&period;com&sol;starwars&sol;battlefront&sol;forums&sol;discussion&sol;25232&sol;star-wars-battlefront-the-road-ahead" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">update<&sol;a>&comma; which added private matches amongst other fixes and additions&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;100191" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-100191" style&equals;"width&colon; 1920px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"wp-image-100191 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2016&sol;02&sol;star&lowbar;wars&lowbar;battlefront&lowbar;e3&lowbar;screen&lowbar;5&period;jpg" alt&equals;"star wars battlefront 1" width&equals;"1920" height&equals;"1080" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-100191" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">&lpar;Star Wars Battlefront&comma; Electronic Arts&rpar;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>There are a number of highlights from the update&comma; all of which can be read in the patch notes <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;starwars&period;ea&period;com&sol;starwars&sol;battlefront&sol;forums&sol;discussion&sol;30729&sol;star-wars-battlefront-february-update-ps4-pc-x1" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">here<&sol;a>&comma; which include an all new mission map&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Survival in the Ice Caves&&num;8221&semi; which of course takes place on Hoth&period; An entirely new Hoth map&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Twilight&&num;8221&semi; is also available on the Walker Assault&comma; Supremacy&comma; Turning Point&comma; Fighting Squadron&comma; Drop Zone and Heroes vs&period; Villains game modes&period; The Turning Point mode as well can be played on all large scale maps&comma; and no longer just on the Jakku map&period; Additionally there is a new setting for film grain&comma; that can be found in the video settings to add an extra bit of film authenticity to the <em>Battlefront<&sol;em> experience&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<figure id&equals;"attachment&lowbar;100192" aria-describedby&equals;"caption-attachment-100192" style&equals;"width&colon; 1920px" class&equals;"wp-caption aligncenter"><img class&equals;"wp-image-100192 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2016&sol;02&sol;03233521&sol;ogimage&period;img&lowbar;&period;jpg" alt&equals;"star wars Battlefront 2" width&equals;"1920" height&equals;"1080" &sol;><figcaption id&equals;"caption-attachment-100192" class&equals;"wp-caption-text">&lpar;Star Wars Battlefront&comma; Electronic Arts&rpar;<&sol;figcaption><&sol;figure>&NewLine;<p>While DICE made some gameplay tweaks earlier in the month&comma; they have added another round in this update&period; Some of the biggest standouts include primary weapons doing an extra 10 percent damage to air vehicles&comma; and the hit box on the A-Wing being increased&comma; which should help both players on the ground and in the air&period; Additionally the between rounds timer has been dropped from 30 seconds to 20 seconds&comma; which definitely helps speed up the time spent waiting between rounds&period; There have been a number of other bug fixes and weapon balancing&comma; all of which should help the overall <em>Battlefront<&sol;em> experience&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Hopefully we will continue to see the free content and updates such as this from DICE&comma; on top of the paid DLC&comma; the first of which is set to drop in March&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;starwars&period;ea&period;com&sol;starwars&sol;battlefront&sol;forums&sol;discussion&sol;30729&sol;star-wars-battlefront-february-update-ps4-pc-x1">Battlefront Forums<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
