Star Wars Battlefront is Getting a Beta This October

<p>In a time not so far away&comma; you&&num;8217&semi;ll get to play<em> <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;star-wars-battlefronts-supremacy-mode-promises-big-frontline-action&sol;">Star Wars Battlefront<&sol;a><&sol;em> before it lands this November&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Publisher EA has announced that the game will be getting a beta across all three platforms – Xbox One&comma; Playstation 4&comma; and PC – in &&num;8220&semi;early October&period;&&num;8221&semi; The beta will include early access to <em>Battlefront<&sol;em>&&num;8216&semi;s 40-player Walker Assault mode on Hoth in which both Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker will be unlockable characters&period; In addition&comma; the beta will let you try out <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;e3-2015-star-wars-battlefront-has-a-survival-mode&sol;">Tatooine&&num;8217&semi;s Survival Mode<&sol;a> where you can push back waves of Imperial troops as Rebel soldiers&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>A new mode&comma; &&num;8220&semi;Drop Zone&comma;&&num;8221&semi; will also be included in the beta which EA says it&&num;8217&semi;ll explain in further detail &&num;8220&semi;in the weeks ahead&&num;8221&semi; before the beta&&num;8217&semi;s launch&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Unfortunately&comma; all of your in-game progress &lpar;achievements&comma; characters&comma; character data&rpar; will not carry over into the full game&period; You will&comma; however&comma; likely run into plenty of &&num;8220&semi;errors&sol;defects&comma;&&num;8221&semi; EA warned&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;09&sol;04182022&sol;Star-Wars-Battlefront-Walker-Assault-BagoGames&period;jpg"><img class&equals;"aligncenter wp-image-90796 size-full" src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;cdn&period;bagogames&period;com&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2015&sol;09&sol;04182022&sol;Star-Wars-Battlefront-Walker-Assault-BagoGames&period;jpg" alt&equals;"Star Wars Battlefront Walker Assault BagoGames" width&equals;"800" height&equals;"465" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There was additionally no mention of the beta being a pre-order bonus&comma; so for all intents and purposes&comma; it appears the beta will be an open beta unless otherwise stated&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Unlike <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;say-bye-bye-to-apps-in-assassins-creed-syndicate&sol;">some of its peers<&sol;a> this holiday&comma; EA also announced that <em>Battlefront<&sol;em> will boast a &&num;8220&semi;Companion&&num;8221&semi; app for Android and i0s&period; One of the app&&num;8217&semi;s functions will reportedly feature &&num;8220&semi;strategic card game&&num;8221&semi; called Base Command which you&&num;8217&semi;ll be able to play on the <em>Battlefront<&sol;em> website to earn credits for things like Star Cards&comma; weapons&comma; &&num;8220&semi;and more&&num;8221&semi; in Battlefront&period; The Battlefront Companion app will also let gamers track their in-game progress&comma; compare stats&comma; and customize weapon load-outs&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Star Wars&colon; Battlefront<&sol;em> launches this<strong> Nov&period; 17th<&sol;strong>&comma; a week following <em>Fallout 4<&sol;em> and a month before Disney&&num;8217&semi;s <em><a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;the-force-will-awaken-disney-infinity-3-0-too&sol;">Star Wars Episode VII&colon; The Force Awakens<&sol;a><&sol;em> arrives in theaters this<strong> Dec&period; 18th&comma;<&sol;strong> the latter of<strong> <&sol;strong>which EA will also be releasing tie-in DLC for&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Via<&sol;strong> <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gamespot&period;com&sol;articles&sol;star-wars-battlefront-beta-coming-to-ps4-xbox-one-&sol;1100-6430232&sol;">Gamespot<&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
