Star Wars: Battlefront Revisits the Classic Trilogy

<p>DICE LA is revisiting the biggest and best battlefronts from a galaxy far&comma; far away&period; Hoth&comma; the iconic snow planet from <em>The Empire Strikes Back<&sol;em>&comma; and <em>Return of the Jedi<&sol;em>’s Endor&comma; have been confirmed as your newest playgrounds of mayhem and destruction&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>During EA’s press conference&comma; DICE humbly showcased a bit of what to expect from the Frostbite Engine 3-powered multiplayer shooter and just how much the team is trying to achieve a high level of quality and authenticity&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Visiting the LucasFilm Archives at Skywalker Ranch &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;to capture the actual models and props used in the movies&comma;” the studio hopes to &OpenCurlyDoubleQuote;not just to capture the environments&comma; but the emotions they invoke as well&period;&&num;8221&semi; So far&comma; the latest Star Wars Battlefront is looking &&num;8220&semi;truly spectacular&&num;8221&semi; according to its developers&comma; though no known release date is on the horizon until &&num;8220&semi;spring of 2015&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>From what early footage was gathered above&comma; the usual suspects of Rebel  snowspeeders&comma; Imperial AT-STs&comma; speeder bikes&comma; and the standard cronies of Stormtroopers and Rebel Alliance soldiers can be seen in early in-engine footage&comma; including one fancy speeder bike prototype chase&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Battlefront is one of many Star Wars games EA plans to make over the next decade&period; Visceral&&num;8217&semi;s <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;bagogames&period;com&sol;upcoming-star-wars-games-to-be-inspired-by-the-arkham-series&sol;">mystery Star Wars game<&sol;a>&comma; penned by ex-Naughty Dog director Amy Hennig and Todd Stashwick&comma; is expected to follow at any given date&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em>Star Wars&colon; Battlefront <&sol;em>is assumed to release for the new-gen consoles of PS4 and X-Box One at an undisclosed date&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
