Star Wars Battlefront Sequel Coming in Fall 2017

<p>During an investor call today&comma; EA announced that <em>Star Wars Battlefront<&sol;em>&&num;8216&semi;s sequel would be arriving in the Fall of 2017&period; Blake Jorgensen&comma; EA&&num;8217&semi;s chief financial officer&comma; announced the game will be an &&num;8220&semi;<em>extremely deep and engaging offering&period;<&sol;em>&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There isn&&num;8217&semi;t much else to this news&comma; as the release window of Fall is only a narrower time frame than the vague &&num;8220&semi;2017&&num;8221&semi; release window which was previously posited&period;  EA DICE&&num;8217&semi;s <em>Star Wars Battlefront <&sol;em>received only one extremely major complaint and that was its lack of a campaign&comma; something which <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gamespot&period;com&sol;articles&sol;ea-explains-why-star-wars-battlefront-didnt-have-s&sol;1100-6439898&sol;">EA has suggested<&sol;a> will be present in the sequel&period; The original game lacked a campaign in order to be released in time with <em>Star Wars Episode VII&colon; The Force Awakens<&sol;em>&comma; which helped sales but didn&&num;8217&semi;t help its reviews&period; Unsurprisingly&comma; the sequel will seemingly hit just before <em>Star Wars Episode VIII <&sol;em>is released on December 15&comma; 2017&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I think the fact that Jorgensen cites offering a much deeper and engaging offering implies heavily that a campaign will definitely be in the mix&period; It would sort of be silly to not include one based on the negative feedback the game received&period; Regardless&comma; <em>Star Wars Battlefront<&sol;em>&&num;8216&semi;s sequel will arrive in Fall 2017 and I can&&num;8217&semi;t be more excited to see what changes are made to make the game better&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Are you excited for the next <em>Battlefront<&sol;em>&quest; Let us know in the comments below what changes you&&num;8217&semi;d like to see&excl;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;polygon&period;com&sol;2016&sol;11&sol;1&sol;13492820&sol;star-wars-battlefront-2-fall-2017">Polygon<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
