Disney have announced Star Wars: Uprising for mobile devices. This RPG is developed by Kabam and set between Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Episode VII: The Force Awakens. It takes place in the Anoat sector which includes Cloud City and Hoth. You can watch a trailer for the game above.
Uprising will offer players different abilities and gear to customise their character and crew. Gamers can take part in large battles and team-up with friends in online co-op. From this screenshot here, it looks like the game will play similarly to Diablo.
Kabam’s senior vice president, Aaron Loeb, said : “The Kabam RPG Studio has taken its collective experience and passion for role playing games to focus on creating a unique and immersive gameplay experience for Star Wars fans and RPG gamers around the world.”
Star Wars: Uprising will be available for iOS and Android devices. There will be an open beta for the game in a few weeks.
