Valve has launched its Steam Holiday Sale today, offering discounts on a range of titles.

Steam has utilised a number of impressive flash sales, daily deals, and catalogue discounts in the past to help the service become as popular as it is, and it seems like the current Holiday Sale will be no different, with offers including Batman: Arkham City (Game Of The Year Edition) for $7.50, Scribblenauts Unlimited for $20, and Mirror’s Edge for $5. There are also franchise discounts on series such as Hitman and Borderlands.

Also, new features have appeared with the Holiday Sale in the form of a sale-related voting system and the option for users to receive notifications when particular games go on sale.

The Steam Holiday Sale runs through to 5th January, 2013.
