<p>Valve has launched its Steam Holiday Sale today&comma; offering discounts on a range of titles&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Steam has utilised a number of impressive flash sales&comma; daily deals&comma; and catalogue discounts in the past to help the service become as popular as it is&comma; and it seems like the current Holiday Sale will be no different&comma; with offers including <em>Batman&colon; Arkham City &lpar;Game Of The Year Edition<&sol;em>&rpar; for &dollar;7&period;50&comma; <em>Scribblenauts Unlimited<&sol;em> for &dollar;20&comma; and <em>Mirror&&num;8217&semi;s Edge<&sol;em> for &dollar;5&period; There are also franchise discounts on series such as <em>Hitman<&sol;em> and <em>Borderlands<&sol;em>&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Also&comma; new features have appeared with the Holiday Sale in the form of a sale-related voting system and the option for users to receive notifications when particular games go on sale&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Steam Holiday Sale runs through to 5th January&comma; 2013&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
