PQube has announced that Steins;Gate 0 is coming to PS4 and Vita sometime in 2016 for North America and Europe.
Steins;Gate 0 is the sequel to the visual novel, Steins;Gate. The series is about a team of teenage scientists who alter history by sending texts through a tampered microwave. Yeah, sounds just as crazy as the name, and so does the fate that befalls them as SERN, an organization who has tested time travel events (and failed) becomes involved.
This game focuses on AI and the creation of a system called Amadeus, which allows someone to interact with the “stored memories of a fellow human being”, according to the press release. This story will also be set in an alternate world narrative from the original.
PQube believes this game “will delight both newcomers to the series and existing STEINS;GATE fans.”
Opinion: Color me intrigued.
