Street Fighter X Mega Man To See Updated “Version 2” Release

<p>Many Mega Man fans were thrilled to see the platform hero return in all his retro glory in the recent free-to-download <em>Street Fighter X Mega Man<&sol;em>&comma; and now Capcom has announced that an updated version of the game will be released in 2013&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The updated version will apparently take care of known issues with the game&comma; with Capcom Senior Community Manager Brett Elston telling <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;themmnetwork&period;com&sol;2013&sol;01&sol;03&sol;capcom-answers-your-questions-about-street-fighter-x-mega-man&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">The Mega Man Network<&sol;a>&comma;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<blockquote><p>&&num;8220&semi;Given the tight dev window&comma; we know there are a few rough edges left&comma; even with a dozen people looking at this&period; To that end&comma; we can say we&&num;8217&semi;re working on a V2 that will release soon and hopefully address some of those known issues&period; It&&num;8217&semi;s not adding content&comma; but we&&num;8217&semi;ve been reading responses and can &&num;8220&semi;tighten up&&num;8221&semi; a few things before the end of the year&period;&&num;8221&semi;<&sol;p><&sol;blockquote>&NewLine;<p><em>Street Fighter X Mega Man<&sol;em>&comma; which sees Mega Man traversing side-scrolling levels and fighting <em>Street Fighter<&sol;em> characters such as Ryu and Blanka as end-of-level bosses&comma; began life as a fan project but later saw official collaboration from Capcom in celebration of Mega Man&&num;8217&semi;s 25th anniversary&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lbrack;Via&colon; <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;computerandvideogames&period;com&sol;385121&sol;street-fighter-x-mega-man-version-2-in-the-works&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">CVG<&sol;a>&rsqb;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
