Nintendo released three screenshots along with information pertaining to the five professions in the Style Savvy: Fashion Forward 3DS game.
This game is for any aged player who is interested in the fashion world. Each job title has their own unique game mechanics and challenges. Players have the option to play through the entire game as one professional or may change jobs as the game progresses. Professions can be switched at any time during gameplay giving players a chance to explore the world of fashion to the fullest. The five job types in Fashion Forward are: Boutique Manager, Designer, Hair Stylist, Make-Up Artist and Model.
Boutique Managers are responsible for recommending clothes to customers based on their own style and request. There are more than 19,000 clothes and accessories that managers can obtain for their shop. As a manager, you need to keep your boutique well stocked and visit the Exhibition Hall’s outlets to find the ever-changing inventory. If you succeeded, everyone will seek the trends sold at your store.
Designers will receive requests for clothing and you must create the piece. Talk to the locals of the town to inspire new patterns. The in-game fashion guide will help you learn about real fashion styles and accent colors. Designers can sell their clothes in their boutique and then earn enough money to design even more!
Hair Stylists and Make-Ap Artists are sought after to update or make-over NPCs. Ask questions to create a new look for each of your customers. Those that fall in love with their new looks will come back to your boutique for more appointments. The happy NPCs may even recommend your services to those in the town!
