The Wii U has been continued to struggle amidst poor sales figures and bad marketing. However, some of its software is doing quite well. In fact, Mario’s newest outing in Super Mario 3D World has garnered the mustachioed hero’s newest game four nominations in the British Academy Game Awards. The categories it was nominated for are Best Game, Family, Multiplayer, and Music which sports a jazzy infused soundtrack composed by Mahito Yokota, Toru Minegishi, Yasuaki Iwata, and Koji Kondo.
Meanwhile, the 3DS received a nomination for Animal Crossing: New Leaf in the Family slot. Hit games such as Fire Emblem: Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds surprisingly had no nominations to be found anywhere.
