Super Mario Maker Comes to 3DS on December 2nd

<p><em>Super Mario Maker <&sol;em>was huge for the Nintendo Wii U and that makes it a no-brainer for the game to finally make its way to Nintendo&&num;8217&semi;s handheld device&period; Nintendo announced during their newest Nintendo Direct that Nintendo 3DS players will get to enjoy the popular Mario level builder on December 2nd&comma; 2016&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There will be 100 built-in levels and a heavy focus on local play between players&period; Levels will be shared by downloading from friends or through Streetpass&comma; encouraging people to interact with other 3DS users&period; Wii U courses will be compatible&comma; but not all of them&comma; unfortunately&period; This is mainly due to technical restrictions I&&num;8217&semi;m sure&comma; but still a bummer nonetheless&period; The other noticeable downgrade is that the game will not allow users to search by course ID&period; Sharing and searching other courses via the internet will not be available for 3DS users&period; Another omission will be the mystery mushroom and its corresponding costumes&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>There will be collaboratively made levels though if you so choose&period; You can team up with another player and help each other develop a mind-bending Mario level&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>I&&num;8217&semi;m still excited to get my hands on the game&comma; especially because the touchscreen on the 3DS should lend itself greatly to creating levels&period; It makes sense the game would be stripped down&comma; but it also seems like taking out online upload functionality is a major step backwards&period; We&&num;8217&semi;ll see how the game shapes up though when its released before the end of this year&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong>Source&colon; <a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;youtube&period;com&sol;watch&quest;v&equals;MUCcvWNRTl0">Nintendo Direct<&sol;a><&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;
