Super Monday Night Combat Developer Creates Kickstarter for New Game Entitled: Planetary Annihilation

<p>Uber Entertainment have begun a <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;kickstarter&period;com&sol;projects&sol;659943965&sol;planetary-annihilation-a-next-generation-rts&quest;ref&equals;recently&lowbar;launched" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">Kickstarter campaign<&sol;a> for a hope-to-be upcoming project titled <em>Planetary Annihilation&period; <&sol;em>The game will be based on the cult classic <em>Total <&sol;em><em>Annihilation<&sol;em>&comma; and will be an RTS focusing on gigantic battles between forces&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The game will not only be inspired by <em>Total <&sol;em><em>Annihilation<&sol;em>&comma; Uber Entertainment was originally founded by members of the Supreme Commander development team&comma; with the leader being the former director of <em>Total <&sol;em><em>Annihilation&period;<&sol;em><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><em><&sol;em>The trailer for the game shows the game&&num;8217&semi;s over the top nature&period; Just destroying your enemies is not enough it seems&comma; as you have the ability to actually call in gigantic asteroids to fall upon your enemy&comma; releasing their petty souls in a burst of cataclysmic fire and flame&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>So far&comma; the Kickstarter campaign has reach &dollar;270&comma;000 out of the &dollar;900&comma;000 goal&period; With 28 days to go&comma; it seems more than likely they will reach&comma; if not exceed their goal and get the all clear to start real production on the game&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&lpar;Via <a href&equals;"http&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;gamesradar&period;com&sol;planetary-annihilation-kickstarter-launched-smnc-dev-uber-entertainment&sol;" target&equals;"&lowbar;blank">GamesRadar<&sol;a>&rpar;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
