Wii U’s Online Play

There are two separate formats to choose from when playing online on the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. For Fun: allows players to set their own stages, rules and even customize the move sets. For Glory: is only played at the Final Destination stages and other flat stages. There are also no items, you are completely on your own and must rely on your own wits to survive.

3DS Online Play

The 3DS does indeed support online multiplayer! And a special online feature called Smash Run can only be played on the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. Up to 4 players will have 5 minutes to power up the characters before the actual fight between players.
