Earlier today, Curve Digital and Size Five Games announced they’ll be working together to deliver the ” steampunk cybercrime steal-em-up” The Swindel later this year.

The creator of The Swindel is Dan Marshall and he explains the game is a “mixture of Deus Ex and Spelunky”. At its core, The Swindel is a platforming game with elements of action and stealth gameplay. Like the name infers, players will be trying to conduct a heist as they attempt to enter and hack procedurally-generated buildings and systems. Once the player has the cash in-hand, it is time to head to the nearest exit.

The Steampunk Cybercrime Caper will be released on all major consoles in 2015. The console versions of The Swindle are being developed and published by Curve Digital. The console versions include Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Wii U. A definitive release date is not yet available.
