Ed Boon has confirmed that Tanya will be released for Mortal Kombat X as a DLC character next month. When asked about Tanya on Twitter, the game’s director responded with the tweet below.

First appearing in Mortal Kombat 4, Tanya is from the Kingdom of Edenia but worships the evil Shinnock. She has also served Onaga and the Deadly Alliance. Her signature moves include Surging Blast and Human Cannon Drill.
Tanya is part of Mortal Kombat X‘s Kombat Pack but can be purchased separately. Mortal Kombat X is available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
