Well, now we know what Media Molecule has been up to! That’s right; the famed LittleBigPlanet creators have been hard at work on a brand new title for the PlayStation Vita – Tearaway. Tearaway offers a unique presentation with its paper-styled world, and it maintains that same color and charm that Media Molecule is known for.
Tearaway follows the adventure of Iota, a charming little messenger on a quest to deliver an important message. Acting as a Godly postman of sorts, you and your otherworldly abilities will guide Iota to deliver his special message.
The title looks to be using everything the PlayStation Vita has to offer. With you being the God of this small, papery domain, you have the ability to affect the game world in a variety of ways using all the features of Sony’s handheld. The back touchpad will allow you to poke your fingers up through the ground, you can blow wind into the world and you can shout at the Vita—blessing Iota with a power that rivals Fus Ro Dah (I don’t recommend you use this on the bus.)
