Well this is unexpected! Capcom has just announced that they are working with Nintendo to bring Animal Crossing characters to Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate. Players will be able to craft special costumes that turn their felyne companions into Isabelle or Mr. Resetti. Isabelle was a new character in Animal Crossing whilst Mr. Resetti is a series regular.
This won’t be the first time that Capcom has brought Nintendo characters into their massive action franchise. Monster Hunter 4 contained Mario and Luigi costumes for the felynes and a Link costume for the hunter. I know this news is hard to believe so take a look at the video above and see for yourself.
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate launches in Japan on October 11 and will come to the West in early 2015.
