<h2>1. Pick a Landing Spot</h2>
<p>Whether you&#8217;re playing as a squad, duo, or solo you need to strategize and pick a spot where everyone will land. <p>On the other hand, if you aren&#8217;t an aggressive player and want to start the game out slower, then you should land somewhere less popular. It might be harder for you to find weapons and other loot as you will have to travel on foot to get to the higher populated areas.</p>

<p>Speaking of finding a landing spot, you should also aim to make sure that you land on a roof during each drop. Sometimes there will be weapons on top and buildings so you will have one within seconds of the game.</p>
<p>It is also good to start at the top of the building and work your way down collecting loot. Especially if you land on a tall building, then you&#8217;ll have tons of rooms that you can go through to find loot.</p>
<p>You may even want to implement this strategy into your gameplay after you land. You can build-up to the tops of buildings and start looting from the top. Make sure to listen for the noise that chests make because you will have better luck finding them if you start from the top. You should also note that building may draw attention to you and your location so you will want to loot quickly.</p>
<h2>3. Limit Your Noise</h2>
<p>If you&#8217;re trying to get good at Fortnite, then one major thing you should be concerned about is how much noise your character makes. Your character will make noise when switching guns, opening a chest, and especially when running. So you should do the same and try to listen to their loud movements through your headset. Wearing a headset will also help you emerge yourself in the game and you will hear lots of in-game sounds.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re playing with other people, then you should definitely wear a headset to communicate with them. The best way to win when you&#8217;re playing in a squad is to communicate with your team and let them know what&#8217;s going on around you. You can give them a heads up if you spot any enemies or give them extra loot that you won&#8217;t be able to use.</p>
<h2>5. Only Engage When You Have the Advantage</h2>

<p>This does not mean that if another team is shooting at you that you should not shoot back because then you will more than likely lose every time. But rather when you see a team but they don&#8217;t see if.</p>
<p>If you see a team minding their own business and don&#8217;t think they&#8217;re ready for a fight, then that&#8217;s the perfect time to swoop in and take them out. Do your best to catch other teams off guard because this will be more successful.</p>
<h2>6. Don&#8217;t Stop Moving</h2>
<p>One very important part of Fortnite is that you should always be moving. Loot areas quickly and then move on to another location. Sitting in the same location is a great way for other teams to get the drop on you.</p>
<p>You also need to keep moving so you can stay within the circle. Not being in the circle when the storm comes will suck up your health and potentially kill you. And no one likes dying from the environment!</p>
