The Elder ScrollsBlades will be available fall 2018 on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. However, a specific release date hasn’t been announced. From Bethesda Game Studios, this is a massive first-person role-playing game created for mobile and it’s the first game in the franchise to be built for mobile. Furthermore, it’ll be available later this year.

Todd Howard, Game Director at Bethesda Game Studios, spoke on the E3 stage. However, he didn’t say much about the game, with the biggest tidbit being:

We’ve been waiting to play a game like this. The huge first-person RPGs we love to build, but on our phones. It’s incredible what we’re able to do now.

The Elder Scrolls’ Abyss

Players can play any character they want in addition to a variety of modes. Become the town’s champion through all-new single-player storylines. Furthermore, players can test their resolve in the never-ending Abyss. The official description of the game says:

Experience an all-new single player story set in the world of The Elder Scrolls. As a member of The Blades, the Empire’s top agents, you are forced into exile. On the run, you return to your hometown to find it destroyed.

The news comes after The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset was released on consoles. The game introduced the Psijic Order to the franchise. Lawrence Schick, Elder Scrolls Online‘s Loremaster spoke about the lore behind the group, saying:

The Psijic Order have stated that they are primarily interested in learning the fundamental basics of the world and universe, what holds it together, and what could threaten it.

Pre-registration for The Elder Scrolls: Blades is already open. However, it’s unclear when players can expect more news. The game is available for mobile in Fall 2018 with no specific date. Furthermore, it’s unclear if it’ll come to consoles. However, Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
