<p>The promo trailer for the upcoming anime film, <em>The Empire of Corpses</em> reveals the theme song “Door” by EGOIST and the official <a href="http://project-itoh.com/news/20150716_3/"><strong>website</strong></a> reveals the cast and all sorts of goodies.</p>

<a href="http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-07-16/the-empire-of-corpses-anime-film-unveils-cast-theme-song-premiere-date/.90529"><strong>Anime News Network</strong></a> reported that</p>
<p>“&#8230;the website announced the premiere dates for all three films. <em>The Empire of Corpses</em> was originally slated for December, but is now slated to open in theaters in Japan on October 2. <em>Genocidal Organ</em> was slated for October but is now slated for November 13. <em>Harmony</em> was slated for November, but is now slated for December 4”.</p>
<p><em>The Empire of Corpses</em> is set in Europe during the 19th century and follows the life of John Watson. The government asks him to become a secret agent. In the story&#8217;s universe, there are human corpses that are given a false soul called Frankensteins. These Frankensteins have a single purpose: to aide the industrialization of Europe. One can only imagine what the good John Watson will encounter in this film.</p>
<p>The film is based on the novel by Project Itoh, real name Satoshi Ito. Ito-san wrote three other novels: <em>Genocidal Organ, Harmony,</em> and the novel adaption of <em>Metal Gear Solid: Guns of the Patriots</em>. These will also be adapted to film. All of Project Itoh&#8217;s novels were released in Enlgih by Viz Media except for <em>The Empire of Corpses</em>.</p>
