Today, Bethesda Softworks released a new trailer for The Evil Within called the “PAX East Gameplay Trailer”. It shows new gameplay footage and a first look at one of the games’s villains, Boxman.
Gameplay footage follows Detective Sebastien Castellanos as he investigates a mass murder. Castellanos is knocked unconscious shortly after being witness to the slaughter of his colleagues by an unidentified force. When he awakes, the world in which he once knew is no longer the same. The detective sets out to discover what has happened, whom is responsible and why are there creatures roaming the earth among the dead.
The Evil Within is scheduled to be released on August 26, 2014 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
