A new generation of Star Wars heroes is only just beginning this December and two of its newcomers are in Disney Infinity 3.0, Disney’s shown off.
As it was announced today at Disney’s D23 Expo, Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ Finn (John Boyega) and Rey (Daisy Ridley) will be part of the game’s line of NFC figurines this holiday, which you can see the new figures in greater detail above. A Force Awakens playset will reportedly be launching with Disney Infinity 3.0 as well this Aug. 30th.
Ridley and Boyega were further present onstage to inspect Disney’s handiwork at crafting their tiny, plastic likenesses. It was also revealed that a set of figures with lightsabers will also release for the game that “light up when placed onto the Disney Infinity Base.”
Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Yoda, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Kanan Jarrus from Star Wars Rebels have all been announced thus far for Disney Infinity 3.0. Finn and Rey are the only two characters new to The Force Awakens to be officially unveiled for the game.
The Good Dinosaur, Zootopia, and Peter Pan are some of the latest movies to be added to the Disney Infinity universe meanwhile.
