Next year will see the Dark Knight battle the Man of Steel, but the next five will see the Green Lantern Corps make their big-screen debut – all of them.
As it’s been rumored for months, Hal Jordan’s next adventure will take him across the universe with a few of his classic comic allies. In the comics, the Green Lantern Corps was an intergalactic police force that defended every sector of the known universe who collectively called upon the power of the Central Power Battery using their Green Lantern rings, granting them the ability to create weapons travel through space.
Along with Jordan, John Stewart, Kyle Rayner, and even Sinestro have all been among the Corps’ numbers. No one’s been cast for any of the above just yet, though Star Trek: Into Darkness‘s Chris Pine has been long-rumored for the role of Hal Jordan.
