Google’s Stadia has had a bit of a rough patch in terms of the way it’s been handled and its general reception, being lukewarm, at best. However, being able to stream your games on any device was a rather novel concept that was worth exploring. Google jumped on that train, and the Stadia, or more specifically, its Pro membership, is what we’re gonna discuss today.

Google Stadia’s library isn’t one to scoff at, landing games like Destiny 2 and Samurai Shodown, and today’s no different. The team there has a new RPG and action game releasing on the platform, one of which is coming this week, actually. From Nihom Falcom, is The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. Previously at BagoGames, we’ve actually reviewed the PC version of the game, and its demo. You can read the full PC review here.

But Wait, There’s More Than Trails of Cold Steel

Alongside Trails of Cold Steel III’s release through Stadia Pro, another NIS America game was announced. However, that will be coming in July, in the form of Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. Ys is a hack-and-slash game by NIS America, and follows a style similar to games like Dynasty Warriors. Ys IX follows the story of Adol Christin, an adventurer who was recently apprehended as the prime suspect in the disappearance of the Romun Fleet on the Atlas Ocean. The events of the game follow his attempts to escape the Prison City of Balduq.

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox released previously on PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch and PC versions (via Steam) are releasing on July 1st and 6th, respectively. The game is slated to be added to Stadia Pro on July 6th, the same day the Steam version releases. You can watch the PlayStation 4 version’s launch trailer here.
